A post-doctoral cellular biologist by day and self-described ‘house music spliceosome’ by night, Obi-wan Solo hails from Detroit and now calls Reno home.

Inspired by the groove and joy of classic Motown as well as the original industrial technotronics of the Belleville 3, Obi hustles hard to bridge modern driving house and techno with old school soul in order to convince everyone they like house music, they just might not know it yet.

Obi originally began mixing tracks together to make studying easier and has since moved up to mixing on lineups with acts such as Sage Armstrong, Will Clarke, Mark Farina, SNBRN, and even Petey Pablo & Shwayze in an underground bowling alley.... seriously.
